GTV was a Pan African Pay Satellite Television Company that was born out of Gateway Communications to provide subsidized Pay Television Services to Africa. Unfortunately only two years into its operations it was affected by the Financial crisis and shut down its whole operation in Africa in January 2009.

2001 - 2007 June Tel Choice Uganda - Operations Manager

1. Tel choice is a Super dealer (Distributor) for Uganda Telecom one of the leading Telecommunication companies in Uganda.
2. Introduced new electronic airtime distribution methods
3. Introduced incentive and fidelity schemes aimed at retaining and developing the customer base
4. Deployed a network of countrywide distribution centers aimed at improving availability at all levels
5. Managed 2 major petroleum companies (Caltex, Total) as distribution partners
6. Deployed payphones (Simu4u) through existing distribution network
7. Extended territorial distribution with approximately 25% through negotiation
8. Developed documented internal procedures, published through staff handbook, human resource and training manual.

Colin Kakiza Muhoozi - Director

Colin Muhoozi Kakiza – After beginning his career with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Los Angeles, California, Colin progressed to hone his hospitality skills in a diverse range of areas including Internal Income Auditor, Assistant Controller, and Director of Room Operations.

Colin's core strength lies in the ability to combine financial experience with operational expertise where People are the most critical part of the Service Equation.

Colin later worked with Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts for many years (most notably at the prestigious Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel) as an Assistant Controller and later Director of Rooms Division.

Colin is currently Managing Partner/Founder of a Hospitality Management Consulting and Training firm (KaziBora Group) based in Kigali, Rwanda. KaziBora is the Preferred Training Solution Partner for Kigali Serena, Hotel Des Mille Collines, and several high profile banks.

Colin is 42 years old, and married, with one daughter, loves travelling, exploring new horizons and working with diverse cultures and people who support the exponential growth within the hospitality and tourism industry.

As a Director in BMAC&Walker Rwanda, Colin brings a breadth of global experience coupled with a deep understanding of local business dynamics and a passion for exploring new business opportunities.

Colin attended Westmont College, Santa Barbara (Economics) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)- (Hospitality Management Certificate.)

Charles Haba - Director

Charles is a talented and highly motivated Real Estate Practitioner with a proven record of success that has contributed to blossoming of Rwanda's real estate sector.

Having read Law at the National University of Rwanda coupled with several years of experience in senior capacities in the Rwandan mortgage finance sector, Charles now runs one of the leading property businesses in Rwanda; Century Real Estate (www.centuryrwanda.com). His company offers general real estate consultancy, designs strategies and prospecting plans for developers, transacts in commercial and residential sales & rentals, property management, valuation. Charles takes pride in shaping the future of the Real Estate sector in Rwanda as the founding President of REAR (Real Estate Association of Rwanda), a body set up to train, organize, unite and professionalize real estate agents, managers and practitioners in Rwanda.

As a director of B Mac & Walker - Rwanda, Charles brings on board depth of contacts both in the corporate and government circles. He also has several years of experience in the real estate market and is widely traveled and knowledgeable about property matters in the region and beyond.

Off the business field, Charles has a passion for sports especially cricket. Currently he is a senior sports administrator, where he is the Chairman of Rwanda Cricket Association, serves on the Board of Africa Cricket Association where he represents Eastern Africa and he is also an executive member of the Rwandan National Olympic Committee.

At 35 years, Charles is married to Annette and they have one daughter - Kirstin.

Stephen Asiimwe - Special Regional Media Consultant

Stephen is a multi-disciplined, skilled and experienced person. After his A' levels in 1987, Stephen trained as a teacher, social scientist, journalist and media manager and now has 15 years experience, most of it with Uganda's biggest media house, The New Vision.

Starting off at a very junior role of free lance reporter/proof reader, he rose to the rank of Deputy Business Editor (1994 – 2003). Because of his ambition, creativity and innovation, he was taken on by the American Procurement Company (AMPROC) to start the East African Procurement News (2003 – 2005).

He was later to start his own paper, together with his colleagues, the East African Business Week (May 2005 to-date) that has a regional outfit that includes Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. A team player with strong leadership skills, he led over 200 loyal and well-motivated team managers, marketers, journalists, accountants, distribution and circulation men and women into what is the only and first full-fledged business paper in the region.

As a matter of personal interest, Stephen keeps abreast of developments in the global business and investment industry. On the regional and international scene, Stephen has networked with senior government leaders, business people, policy makers, media experts and owners, through interaction, training and participation in conferences, and membership of international organizations. He has gained a good understanding of various economies and cultures through work, travel and training engagements in various countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, South Africa, Nigeria, Benin, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, USA, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and China.

As a result of his experience and contribution in journalism and particularly founding and heading the East African Business Week, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters given to top scholars and journalists by the United Graduate College and Seminary (Tennessee, USA), in December 2008. This prestigious award was given to him for leading a Christ-centered media outlet that brings honour and positive exposure to Africa.
